Pure Air 8 sits at the top of our premium pressure relieving mattress range.

It’s a total replacement dynamic mattress, giving both optimum therapy for patients and peace of mind with a 3 year warranty.

Pure Air 8 is suitable for patients up to, and including, very high risk of developing pressure ulcers or who have existing tissue damage.

The Pure Air 8 pressure relief mattress can be used for both lighter and heavier patients without compromising on comfort.

Semi-Auto Pressure Adjustment
The control unit monitors the mattress pressure and maintains it at the set level. If the pressure falls below this level the control unit will automatically speed up the inflation of the mattress until the correct pressure is achieved.

Whisper Quiet Control Unit
A whisper quiet control unit, which is silent running at optimum support pressures, means the Cared For can rest easy and sleep soundly.

Enhanced Durability
Robust, tough PU air cell construction combined with welded cover seams and a reliable control unit deliver many years uninterrupted care.

Alternating & Constant Low Pressure
As standard Pure Air 8 has dual mode, so you can switch between Alternating and Constant Low Pressure (CLP). CLP works by increasing the area of support and reducing peak pressures. The Cared For are gently immersed into the support surface.

Multi-stretch, Waterproof & Vapour Permeable Cover
The Multi-stretch cover reduces friction and shear as the Cared For move/are repositioned. Waterproof and vapour permeable properties reduce moisture and aid microclimate control.

Machine Washable Cover up to 95C
Ensures covers can be cleaned and decontaminated effectively to aid infection prevention

External, Easy Replacement Controll Unit Filters
Allows for in-house maintenance ratehr than requiringprofessional servicing, saving money for the care provider

CPR Dial
An easy turn CPR dial ensures rapid deflation in the event of an emergency

Pressure Adjustment For Optimal Comfort
Easy to use pressure adjustment allows Carers to set the mattress to the comfort levels of the individuals they care for

Safety Features

Audible Low Pressure, Cycle Fault & Power Failure Alert
An indicator flashes and an audible signal sounds if the pressure becomes unacceptably low during operation, if alternation fails to operate or if power is lost.

Automatic Function Lockout
Automatically locks out all functionality 2 minutes after a function change to ensure buttons cannot be accidentally pressed.

Static Function with Auto-Return (Alternating/Static Version Only)
Static function enables safer patient transfers, whilst auto-return ensures the surface is not left in firm mode unintentionally.
