On Wednesday, a second group of volunteers went to the Ronald McDonald House at Crumlin Children’s Hospital to cook a lunch for the families living there.
Linda, Tommy, James and Craig cooked a lovely (we hope!) lunch of chicken curry.
The Ronald McDonald House is a wonderful facility that houses the families of children who are seriously ill in hospital. Often, for these families, thinking about cooking is the last thing they think about, and so, the house has opened their kitchens to volunteers that come in and cook a healthy meal for all of the families.
This is Caretua’s second time taking part, and we still have plenty of staff that want to volunteer. Find out how your company or even your group of friends can help here.
